1	Cakes 4 Kids	Cookie decorating	Cake4Kids pairs home bakers with underserved youth to ensure every child and young adult can celebrate their birthday (and other milestones) with a cake.
2	Friends of the Woburn Public Library	Love books and coloring? Come by and visit our table. Select a bookish coloring page and receive a goodie bag.	We support the Woburn Public Library by fundraising for the Museum Pass Program and other library events. Browse our Book Sale Shelf on the lower level of the Library and mark your calendar for our Annual Book Sale, the 3rd weekend in September.
3	The Disabled American Veterans (DAV) Woburn Chapter	Make a holiday card for a veteran. The DAV will distribute them to veterans in our community, or you can take home to share with a veteran in your life.	The Disabled American Veterans (DAV) Woburn Chapter 88 is non-profit that acts as an advocate for Woburn’s veterans and their families. The DAV 88 works to connect our veterans and their loved ones to the benefits they have earned, takes an active role in planning community events that honor our heroes, and recently launched a scholarship program to provide higher education financial assistance to the children of Woburn’s veterans.
4	Community Fridge	Decorate fridge magnets with positive messages	The Community Fridge is located at 523 Main Street (behind the church). Visitors can take what they need, and donors are invited to leave what food they can.
5	Toys for Local Kids	Spread holiday cheer. Visitors are invited to write a special message on ornaments that will be displayed at an upcoming toy drive event and at distribution days.	Toys For Local Kids is an organization designed to spread Christmas cheer to those families less fortunate within our local communities. Toys For Local Kids is truly a blessing to those in need, who may not be able to provide their children with gifts for Christmas. Our biggest intention is to put a smile on a child’s face Christmas morning.
6	Our Space	Creative crafts	The mission of Our Space is to embrace children, teens, and their families who are facing cancer and other serious illnesses. Our Space inspires healing, peace, and joy through creative exploration, play, and connection to others.
7	Woburn Welcomes	Assemble Know Your Rights Packets	Woburn Welcomes’ mission is to pursue positive civic change through collaboration, service, and political advocacy. We work to support inclusiveness and promote justice for everyone who calls Woburn home. Our activities include organizing events, attending rallies, interviewing candidates, working with Progressive Mass, collecting for the Tanner Closet, and serving at the Dwelling Place.
8	Spectrum Club	Write cards of support to LGBTQ+ people	The mission of the Woburn Pride is to empower lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and straight allies as they work toward ensuring that Woburn is accepting, welcoming, and safer for all people, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity.
9	Minute Man Senior Services	Design holiday cheer for Meals on Wheels clients that will be delivered with their meals in December	Minuteman Senior Services is a private, non-profit agency dedicated to helping people of all abilities and backgrounds navigate aging with choice and dignity.
10	Woburn Senior Center	Decorate Christmas cards for seniors	We are a welcoming community center that delivers a variety of social, wellness, recreational, and intellectual programs for residents age 60 and older. We also work hard to connect and assist seniors with local, state and federal programs and resources that support and help them live independently.
11	Art of Living	Learn alternate nostril breathing, a simple yet powerful technique that helps remove stress and bring balance to the mind and body	The Art of Living Foundation is a non-profit (501-C3) humanitarian, and educational organization focused on fostering individual well-being and community resilience. Through evidence-based breathing techniques, meditation, mindfulness programs, and youth empowerment initiatives, Art of Living helps reduce stress, improve mental health, and build stronger, more connected communities.
12	Woburn Community Education Foundation	Write a note to your favorite Woburn Public Schools faculty or staff member	Woburn Community Educational Foundation – WCEF is a private 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, founded in 2014 with a mission to increase private investment and community involvement in the Woburn Public Schools. All revenues are gifted back to the public schools for educational enhancements not covered by the district’s publicly funded budget.
13	Social Capital Inc	Make a connection bookmark	Social Capital Inc. works to increase social connection by developing leaders who cultivate thriving, inclusive communities where all people enjoy positive social, economic and health outcomes.
14	Connor’s Kindness Project	Make kindness cards and complete a kindness activity sheet	Connor’s Kindness Project is a Woburn based nonprofit that has volunteer opportunities for all ages. Their programming includes Kindness Kits for children in shelters and hospitals and a kindness Club for elementary schools. Connor’s Kindness Project (CKP) aims to spread kindness by uplifting children facing challenging situations and to inspire youth to care for others, promote inclusivity, and engage in community service
15	Friends of Horn Pond	Learn all about invasive species logging and how you can collect data to keep our environment clean	We are a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to conserve and preserve the Horn Pond Conservation & Recreation Area for current and future generations through community awareness & action, collaborative partnerships, and citizen science efforts for the advancement of environmental & wildlife habitats.
16	Lasagna Love	Decorate a heart with affirmations to be delivered with lasagnas	Lasagna Love is a global nonprofit and grassroots movement that aims to positively impact communities by connecting neighbors with neighbors through homemade meal delivery. We also seek to eliminate stigmas associated with asking for help when it is needed most. Our mission is simple: feed families, spread kindness, and strengthen communities.
17	Kiwanis Club of Woburn	Try your hand at pulling a Jenga block for a chance to win candy	Kiwanis helps kids worldwide. We look out for Woburn. Meetings are held Tuesdays, 7pm at the American Legion.
18	Woburn SEPAC (Special Education Parent Advisory Council)	“Test drive” fidgets. Your feedback will help us select the most useful fidgets for upcoming SEPAC events	The mission of the Woburn Public School (WPS) Special Education Parent Advisory Council (SEPAC) is to work towards the understanding of, respect for, support, and appropriate education for all children with disabilities in the WPS community.
19	Department of Children and Families (DCF)	Complete a Foster Care quiz and earn prizes such as sticker books, bubbles and more	Our mission is to provide our foster children with a supportive and healing environment in a community home until they can reunite with their families. We can also devise an alternative plan for them, like adoption. The rewards of providing daily care, guidance, and acceptance are immeasurable.
20	Know Your Neighbor	Attendees will be invited to take the “Woburn Multicultural Quiz” – with take home gift	Know Your Neighbor Woburn fosters and grows inclusive, multicultural community in Woburn and surrounding region.
21	Woburn Little League	Have some baseball fun making snowman ornaments	Woburn Little League hosts Baseball/Softball/Challenger Division sports for ages from 5yr olds to 16 years old.
22	Mystic River Watershed	Learn about the local herring migration in Woburn’s Horn Pond and practice herring monitoring by counting fish	MyRWA is a regional environmental nonprofit that works with residents, governmental bodies, municipalities, and community organizations to build solutions so that all people across the watershed, no matter who you are or where you live, have safe and easy access to nature and a healthy environment.
23	Gardens for Good	Take the gardening quiz and learn how you can volunteer for Gardens for Good	Gardens for Good includes a farmer’s market, a fund for families in need as well as the gardening program, which donates all of its produce to the food pantries in Woburn and Winchester.
24	City of Woburn	Have fun with a Woburn Mad Lib fill in the blank game	The City of Woburn is here to connect you to resources; improve quality of life and help you engage as an active member of our community.
25	Council of Social Concern	Assemble personal care kits to be given out to clients at the Food Pantry (and Community Resource Center)	The Council of Social Concern provides a range of services for community needs: quality subsidized childcare for ages 0 – 5, supplemental and emergency food assistance, community resource education, emergency cash assistance, and information and referral services.
26	Commission on Disability	Get answers to your most pressing questions about the Commission on Disability work	Woburn Commission on Disability is a volunteer group that aids in answering questions and serving the needs of the disabled community in the City of Woburn. The Commission meets on a monthly basis, and meetings are open to the public.
27	Family Engagement Woburn Public Schools	Make friendship bracelets	The Woburn Public Schools’ Family and Community Engagement Office works to build strong partnerships between families, schools, and the wider community. We focus on connecting families to resources, fostering engagement opportunities, and supporting student success through collaboration and communication.
28	Respond	We will be doing a “Green Flag Project.” Visitors will fill out a green flag to share what they look for in a healthy intimate partner and/or friends	Respond Inc partners with individuals, families, and communities to end the serious public health issue of domestic violence. RESPOND strives to achieve its mission through prevention, intervention and education services that promote safe, healthy relationships and housing solutions.
29	St. Vincent de Paul	Try your hand at BINGO to win a small prize	The Society of St. Vincent de Paul of Woburn seeks to walk with and assist the people of Woburn experiencing crisis or poverty. We strive to help those in need while treating them with respect, joy and love as we work toward a more just and compassionate society. Inspired by Gospel values, Vincentians create relationships with those we serve regardless of religion, ethnic or social background.
30	Mass Teacher Resources (MTR)	Make fidget strings out of surplus materials that can be given to teachers at the MTR Free Store	Mass Teacher Resources supports our public schools by providing teachers with classroom supplies that promote educational equity and reduce environmental waste – empowering student achievement and building a more just and sustainable future. We operate the only free store for teachers in the state, serving teachers at Title 1 K-8 public schools across 70 communities in Greater Boston.
31	Christmas in WuVille	Get in the holiday spirit by making reindeer food	If you would like to help a child or family in need or if you or anyone you know is in need of help this holiday season, please join Christmas in WuVille on Facebook.
32	Woburn Democratic City Committee	Vote for YOUR candidate in our special fun election. Voter registration will also be available.	The Woburn Democratic City Committee is a group of elected volunteers working to foster and advance the goals of the Democratic Party in Massachusetts. We organize to support Democratic candidates from local to national levels and offer Woburnites diverse opportunities to serve the community and engage in politics.
33	Woburn Public Media Center	Take a look behind the scenes of video production	Your non-profit state-of-the-art media resource center for the entire community.
34	Scouts – 502	Try your hand at knot tying	Scouting is for boys and girls ages 5-21. In Scouting, boys and girls start with their best right now selves and grow into their very best future selves. It’s fun, hands-on learning and achievement that puts kids in the middle of the action and prepares them for today – and for life.
35	Scouts Council	Decorate ornaments	Spirit of Adventure serves Boston and 75 other Massachusetts communities. We support about 7,000 Scouts and 3,500 volunteers. Additionally, we are home to the most popular Scouting facility in New England as well as 5 other camping properties providing year-round programs for over 20,000 campers and guests annually.
36	Woburn Middlesex Lions Club	Get your holiday spirit on with ornament decorating	The Woburn Middlesex Lions Club is a service organization comprised of diversified women of all ages raising funds to promote eye health, eye research, diabetes wellness and access to eyeglasses and other visual aids.
37	Dollars for Scholars	Recognize someone in the community with our You Are a Star Certificate	Dollars for Scholars connects students with local scholarship funding all over the country—all thanks to our network of volunteers
