Pride Flag Raising

Please join us on the front lawn of the Woburn Public Library at 5:30 pm for the Pride Flag Raising and Proclamation Reading.     

Gun Violence Awareness Proclamation Reading

On this day, Woburn’s Mayor will read a Gun Violence Awareness Day Proclamation to honor the victims and survivors of gun violence. Students and community members will also participate in the program. 

Flag Day Festival

The Kiwanis Club in partnership with Sam Walker’s and with support of the city, will be hosting a family friendly Flag Day Festival.

Hurld Park Clean Up

Join us to help remove trash from the Hurld Park wetland area! All supplies will be provided. Register for the event here. Meet at the path entrance on Sheridan Street, across from 33 Sheridan St, Woburn, MA 01801.

Tire, battery and bulb recycling

This recycling event will take place in the parking lot of City Hall from 8 am – Noon. Tires (auto or truck) are $5 each with a maximum of 5 allowed. Auto batteries are $1 each. Fluorescent bulbs and mercury bearing devices are free.

Appliance, Freon, CRT, and electronics recycling

The Medeiros Crew Recycling group are once again conducting appliance, Freon, CRT, and electronics recycling drives. This is an excellent opportunity to recycle these items at a minimal cost, while supporting a local group or organization each month.
