All municipal employees are required to complete conflict of interest training even if they have done so before. The training consists of: 1. Receiving the Summary of Conflict of Interest Law; 2. Filing an Acknowledgment of receiving the Summary with the City Clerk; 3. Completing on-line training on the Ethics Commission website; and 4. Filing a Certificate of Completion of on-line training with the City Clerk.
Below are links to a Summary of the Conflict of Interest and an Acknowledgement Receipt. Print, sign and return the acknowledgement receipt to the Office of the City Clerk. In the alternative, send an email with the subject line “Summary” and including in the body of the email your name and department or office and acknowledging receipt of the summary to firstname.lastname@example.org Keep the Summary for your records
Complete the on-line training found on the Ethics Commission website at http://www.muniprog.eth.state.ma.us/ Once you complete the online training, which takes approximately 30 to 45 minutes, print the Certificate of Completion and send the Certificate to the City Clerk.
