About the United Veterans Council

The United Veterans Council was formed on March 8th, 1928 to promote the co-operation, harmony and unity among veterans in order that veterans’ events and projects shall receive the greatest respect from the community and thus be able to obtain the greatest results.

The United Veterans Council works closely with the Veterans’ Office on various projects all year long (namely Memorial Day commemorations, Veterans’ Day commemorations, and the dedication of street memorial squares.)
