From Mayor Scott Galvin: Please stop by Woburn Common Thursday evening (9/7/17) at 7pm to help light up the Common in Gold and declare September Childhood Cancer Awareness month as a way to draw awareness to the heartbreaking plight of childhood cancer. Woburn resident Brenda Cirone has been working hard again alongside Tony Stoddard this year to ensure we help children by shining a light on the urgent need for research and new cures specifically aimed at childhood cancer. Thanks, Brenda and Tony. Thanks also to musicians John Murphy and Buddy Fanjoy for again giving their time and talents for this year’s lighting. And, as always, thanks to the DPW for their help decorating the Common. Hope to see you there.
