Tickets Available for Mayor’s 41st Annual Senior Appreciation Dinner

Mayor Scott D. Galvin will host the 41st Annual Mayor’s Senior Appreciation Dinner—again prepared by the members of the Woburn Lodge of Elks 908—at Woburn Memorial High School on Sunday, November 4, 2018.

Tickets are now available at Mayor Galvin’s office at City Hall, 10 Common Street, as well as the Woburn Senior Center, 144 School Street.  The event is open at no cost to all Woburn seniors.

This year’s Senior Appreciation Dinner is once again made possible by generous donations from civic and nonprofit organizations, corporate sponsors, local merchants, and individuals.  The Woburn Lodge of Elks team is again being led by Keith Wells to prepare dinner for what typically is a turnout of about 500 Woburn seniors.

Singing and dancing will begin in the WMHS cafeteria at 11 a.m., and dinner will follow at 12 p.m. Master of Ceremonies for the entertainment portion, to be held in the WMHS auditorium following dinner, is Robert McKillop.

Mayor Galvin and the Mayor’s Senior Dinner Committee extend their gratitude to all of the local businesses for the annual generous contributions that make the senior dinner possible.  Donations and raffles are much appreciated.  If you would like to contribute or donate a gift certificate, please send to “Mayor’s Senior Appreciation Dinner” c/o the Mayor’s Office, City Hall, 10 Common Street, Woburn, MA 01801.
