The City is pleased to promote grant funding opportunities and other resources to Woburn residents currently experiencing economic hardship, particularly in cases where the COVID-19 pandemic has led to possible housing instability. Metro Housing Boston is offering two state-funded programs to help Woburn residents address these circumstances: The Rental Assistance for Families in Transition (RAFT) and Emergency Rental and Mortgage Assistance (ERMA) programs, with qualifying households in line to receive up to $4,000 over the course of a 12-month period.
