NEW FOR 2023 – WOBURN ONLINE DOG REGISTRATION
For the 2023 Dog License Registration, we have moved to a new online system – CitizenServe Online Permitting Portal. Registration is now open. If you would like to pay by credit card, please use the online option. Please click the following link and follow the prompts: www.woburnma.gov/permits-licenses. Most residents will be first time users and will need to create an account using your email address before you can register.
All dogs residing in the city must be licensed with the City Clerk. All licenses expire on December 31st of each year. A dog may be registered online, drop-off in person at the Office of the City Clerk, or by mail. For drop-off and mail-in options, please fully complete the Dog License Mail In Form 2023. A mail-in form will also be included in the city census. The registration must be received and processed by March 15, 2023 to avoid a late fee. The fee is $10.00 for a spayed or neutered dog and $15.00 for a dog that has not been spayed or neutered. On and after March 16, 2023, the licensing fees are $25.00 for spayed or neutered dogs and $30.00 for dogs that have not been spayed or neutered. The penalty for having an unregistered dog in Woburn is $50.00 in addition to the licensing fee and late charge. For 2023, because of the new program, all registrations (renewals and new) must provide a current rabies vaccination record and spaying/neutering certificate.
