Presidential Primary 2024 – Absentee Ballots and Vote by Mail – Available

Absentee Ballots and Vote by Mail Applications

Absentee ballots are available for all eligible voters for the 2024 Presidential Primary. A written application must be filed by all voters seeking to vote by absentee ballot. Ballots may be mailed to voters upon written request. A voter may also vote by absentee ballot in the office of the City Clerk.

If you have not applied already, the 2024 Vote by Mail Application is also now available at the following link:  Vote by Mail Application.

For more information on absentee ballots and vote by mail, please go to Voting by Mail.

Last day to apply for a vote by mail application for the Primary Election is Tuesday, February 27, 2024. The application must be received in the City Clerk’s office by 5:00 p.m. If the application is being sent through the mail, the application still must be received in the office by 5:00 p.m., as a postmarked date of February 27, 2024 is not sufficient.

Last day to apply for an absentee ballot (in person) for the Primary Election is Monday, March 4, 2024 at 12:00 noon.

The Presidential Primary Election 2024 will be held on March 5, 2024 from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The primary will be citywide for the races of President Preference, State Committee Man, State Committee Woman, and Ward Committee.
