The following is the Notice of Meeting and, at the time of posting, a listing of topics that the President reasonably anticipates will be discussed at the Regular Meeting of the City Council on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, Woburn City Hall, 10 Common Street, Woburn. The order of the matters may be amended at the meeting.

  3. Communications from His Honor the Mayor:
    1. Order that the sum of $750,000.00 be transferred from Overlay Reserve Acct# 01-322000 to OPEB Trust Fund Acct# 750048-483011.
  4. New Petitions:
    1. Social Capital Inc. for a Special Event Permit to allow Juneteenth Celebration at the Woburn Public Library on June 15, 2024 with request for waiver of umbrella liability insurance.
    2. Sanctuary Medicinals, Inc. request for minor modification to special permits dated October 11, 2018 and March 14, 2023, by replacing Condition 1 with updated hours of operation, at 130 Commerce Way.
  5. Public Hearings:

    2.     4. Viet Thai Restaurant, Inc. d/b/a Saigon Eatery for a special permit under Sections 5.1(29), 7.3, and 8.2.5 of the WZO, and modification of previous special permit to allow for: Revised site plan; 2. Fast food restaurant; and 3. Modification of parking from 148 spaces to 144 spaces, at 299 Mishawum Road.
