The City of Woburn is seeking a young adult (ages 18–26) to join our Substance Use and Mental Health Coalition.
We are a small advisory team that helps guide and support community mental health and substance use initiatives within the city.
This is an opportunity to have your voice heard, share your perspective, and help shape programs, outreach efforts, and community responses that impact local residents. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about mental health, substance use prevention and recovery, community wellness, or creating positive change for young people in Woburn.
Lived experience, professional experience, or a strong interest in these issues are all welcome.
By joining our coalition, you will be asked to attend our monthly meetings for no longer than one hour, either virtually or in person, depending on availability and project needs.
We value honesty, collaboration, creativity, and diverse perspectives. If you are interested in contributing ideas, supporting meaningful community work, and being part of a collaborative effort to strengthen mental health and substance use resources in Woburn, we encourage you to reach out for more information.
