The City of Woburn has launched a major planning initiative to reimagine and revitalize our downtown. With support from the Community One Stop for Growth grant, the City has hired a consultant team led by SGA and Redgate to develop a comprehensive plan that aligns future zoning updates with the upcoming FY 2029 traffic reconfiguration.
What would you like downtown Woburn to look like in the years ahead? How do you envision the center’s future? We invite residents, business owners, and community stakeholders to share your ideas and help shape this important work at a public visioning session on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, from 6:30–8:00 p.m in the City Council Chamber.
This meeting will introduce the project, outline early goals, and most importantly gather your thoughts on how to make downtown Woburn more vibrant, accessible, and welcoming for all.
