The city has received notice from the Massachusetts Department of Revenue that the fiscal 2018 tax rates have been approved. The new rates are:
Residential $9.89
Commercial $24.95
With the approval of the tax rates the city will now proceed with the issuance of the 3rd Quarter Tax Bills. It is expected that these bills will be mailed the last week of December. Taxpayers are reminded that the 3rd Quarter Tax Bills are due February 1st, 2018. If you have not received your tax bill by the second week of January you should contact the Treasurer/Collector’s Office for a copy of the bill.
