This announcement is to notify all Woburn businesses that representatives of Real Estate Research Consultants, Inc. (RRC), who has been contracted by the Woburn Board of Assessors to perform a revaluation of certain personal property accounts in the City of Woburn for Fiscal Year 2024.
The scope of this project includes an interior inspection of certain personal property accounts in order to list all taxable personal property items such as inventory, furniture & fixtures, equipment and machinery used in the conduct of business. All personal property is listed and assessed in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 59, Section 5.
The Board of Assessors and RRC will appreciate your cooperation in providing the representative with access to your property and the information necessary to undertake this assignment. Please keep in mind that if your business is not inspected, an estimate will be made, resulting in a less reliable appraisal.
